Our story
In today's consumer society, finding a balance between economic growth, social needs, and environmental protectioncan be very challenging. Yet, this balance is the only path to a more sustainable future.
Addressing the issue of sustainability inspired the founding of the Techsavers brand in Banská Bystrica, focusing on technology refurbishment and remanufacturing. We recognize the negative impact of new technology production on the environment, which is why we envision that even Slovakia can play a role, however small, in contributing to sustainability in the world of technology.
We identified an opportunity to introduce something missing from the market for the last decade – high-quality refurbished and remanufactured technology that stands apart from the cheap, low-quality products commonly found in various e-shops and marketplaces. This vision became a significant challenge for our CEO Jaroslav Žerebák. From the outset, Techsavers aimed to become synonymous with premium refurbishment and remanufacturing, delivering products whose visual and functional quality are indistinguishable from new devices.
Over the years, our small company has grown into a leading player in the IT refurbishment and remanufacturing industry. With the establishment of a unique and first-of-its-kind remanufacturing center in Central Europe, we have achieved success far beyond Slovakia's borders. Today, we proudly operate in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Croatia, bringing sustainable IT solutions to businesses and individuals across the region.
Our company offers customers world-class refurbishment and remanufacturing, delivering the same benefits as purchasing new products. These include a two-year warranty, battery life guarantees, and laser-engraved keyboards customized to local standards. Thanks to our state-of-the-art technology and a rigorous renovation process, we have successfully refurbished and remanufactured over 344,000 devices.
